Plant Description-
Bonsai belong to the mulberry family and are the most common type of indoor tree. They are also known as common fig and Chinese banyan. They are a fast-growing plant and should ideally be kept in a small pot with a moist tray underneath.
Water-
Water the plant slowly until the water permeates the soil. Water with 500 ml or 2 cups of water twice a week. Mist the plant occasionally with a spray bottle. Water early in the morning or late in the evening when temperatures are cooler.
Temperature-
The ideal temperature should be between 22 and 30 degrees Celsius.
Light-
They can be grown indoors near a sunny window, or outdoors year-round in warmer climates.
Care-
Fertilizing your bonsai plant is essential to its maintenance because nutrients in the soil are quickly lost to water. Use an organic liquid or chemical fertilizer diluted in half. Because bonsai grow quickly, prune back 2-4 leaves after 6-10 have grown.
