As soon as the cake arrives, refrigerate it. Slice and serve the cake at room temperature, taking care not to expose it to heat. The cake should be consumed within 48 hours. When the roses arrive as a bouquet, i.e. secured on floral foam, place them in fresh tap water immediately to keep the foam moist throughout the day. Don't expose your flowers to direct sunlight or any other source of excessive heat. To keep your bouquet looking its best, remove any wilted flowers or leaves as needed.
